Strategic design integrates vision, mission, social science and positioning with the
requisites of management, always pushing insight toward elegance in the store,
in print, and in all new media from desktop to smart phone and beyond.
Whether working in print, packaging, web, identity or integrated digital media, I ask, "How do we create a visual, tactile and imaginative experience that will invite a global audience to interact with this product?" My goal is to capture the imagination of consumers wherever they live.
The client’s business strategy is where I start, translating the product’s promise into a visual campaign that connects faster and more deeply to the emotions than words alone can penetrate.
Harmonizing the analytic and creative, I seek designs that proclaim vitality over
time for the established brand and achieve maximum initial impact for a new brand.
I also embrace the tools of social science to test the efficacy of our intended message. The result is a semiotic bridge of unusual strength and beauty between our client’s project and the consumer.
